Additional Information

Simple beauty was the hallmark of L. Francis Herreshoff designs. This vessel has been kept virtually 100% true to her creator's intention; only minor changes have been made from the original plans to improve storage, etc. All of the moldings, carvings, rigging etc. were completed as the designer specified. A number of other yachts have been built to the design but This vessel is the one built closest to what L. Francis's hand put to paper;  The attention to every detail that has gone into this superb yacht is impressive. Research as to original canvas colors etc. to match her as closely as possible to the original BOUNTY to name but one item. If you ever wanted to step back in time and enjoy one of sailings greatest vessels, here is your opportunity.
