Description
Lynx is arguably the best maintained/upgraded J/29 on the market. In the last decade this boat has been freshly Awlgripped both topsides and deck, had a new Yanmar inboard diesel installed including new fuel tank, engine box, etc and much, much more. A good clean J/29 is a find due to her favorable PHRF rating but this particular boat is a diamond in the rough boasting podium finishes in almost every series/regatta she has entered including multiple "Boat of the Year" awards in both the spinnaker and non-spinnaker fleets racing against some of the best sailors in the country in the busy Newport/Jamestown fleets. Come and take a look at this award winning boat before she gets snatched up. This boat won't be on the market long.
The J/29, while a well known one-design racing design also provides comfortable cruising ability as well. While not standing headroom, there are two comfortable settees to port and starboard with matching quarterberths aft. The forepeak can also easily be converted to a double v-berth or emptied for easy spinnaker handling. There is a manual marine head with integrated holding tank and deck pump out forward.
