Description
"Catharsis" is easily the cleanest and best maintained Catalina 36 I have seen. Her owners have sparred no expense in upgrading systems including the following:
2013 - New battery charger, macerator, fresh water pump, custom Portland mattress for forward cabin.
2011 - Barrier coat a bottom paint, new fuel tank, Jabsco head.
2009 - New salon cushions, dodger.
She is a must see!
The forward cabin has a traditional v-berth with a new custom Portland mattress. There is plenty of storage throught and numerous ports and hatches for ventilation providing lots of natural light.
Aft to port is the spacious head with sink, shower and new Jabsco marine toilet.
The main salon has an L-shaped settee to port that converts to a double berth, a settee to starboard that will convert to two chairs and a cocktail table. There is a large dinette table that stores on the forward bulkhead. The nav station is to starboard with VHF, Autohelm multi function display and Furuno radar.
The galley is to port complete with Adler-Barbour refrigeration, 2-burner stove/oven combination and lots of storage.
The aft stateroom is an athwartships queen berth with multiple ports for plenty of light and ventilation.
The whole boat boasts a real varnished teak interior and teak and holly sole.
On deck you will find a roomy cockpit with all control lines led back. The helm has a new binnacle and electronics pods complete with Autohelm displays, Raymarine 4000+ autopilot and Raymarine E80 GPS plotter/radar screen. The cockpit has Catalina's patented stern pushpit seats. The fold down swim ladder allows access to the swim platform and hot & cold fresh water shower.
The sail plan consists of a fully battened mainsail with a Dutchman flaking system and a furling genoa.
