2001 Hunter 290

Pura Vida is a 2001 Hunter 290 with just two owners. Hunter 290s are a great cruising boat with a wide cockpit area which seats 6 adults comfortably, along with folding table leaves and multiple drink holders. She also has a convenient swim platform, along with a stern shower. The standard, integral stern rail seats are always the best in the house and offer a great view.The boat is very easy to sail and handles nicely in light and heavy winds.

The 18HP Yanmar diesel engine has only 409 hours, very low for a 20 year old vessel. The engine has been maintained well, with new water pump, exhaust and more in recent years. Sails are in very good shape, with a lazy jack system and a custom mainsail cover. 

Down below, private forward and rear double berths combined with a main cabin adjustable table supports sleeping for five adults or four adults and two children. A full kitchen with stove, microwave and refrigerator makes island hopping very comfortable. All this is accented in beautiful hardwoods, and in addition there is plenty of headroom both fore and aft. 

Pura Vida comes with a Fairclough full wrap canvas winter cover and aluminum frame.
