Description
"Sea Star" is a fine example of the very popular Grand Banks 42 "Classic". She features the walk-around queen layout in the master.
She is currently fully commissioned and ready for her next adventure.
Forward the guest cabin features a V-berth and an ensuite head (2004 Groco toilet) and shower. A hanging locker is to port and there is six drawers beneath the berth. Ventalation is provided by three opening portlights and a large hinged hatch opens to the cabin top. The companionway steps lift to access the engineroom.
The main salon is spacious and features a galley portside and forward, a fully equipped helm station to starboard, port and starboard cabin entry doors, large opening windows on two sides, a built-in L-settee with storage, and a teak table with drop leaves. A a cabinet in the port aft corner opposite the settee is available as storage or a space to add additional refrigeration. The Salon upholstery was redone in 2008.
The aft master stateroom is down steps from the salon through teak doors. This cabin features a walk around queen berth with drawers underneath. A teak bureau/vanity is located in the port aft corner of the master suite. The ensuite head (2004 Groco), is to port and features; a mirrored vanity with sink,formica counter top w/ storage beneath. A large separate shower, a teak grate with a shower sump pump beneath is located on the starboard side.
The Galley is up along the port side.
