1977 Blackfin Fisherman

Blackfin boats of this nature have a reputation as some of the most seaworthy and entirely overbuild inboard center consoles out there. The combination of low center of gravity (due to the centrally located inboard) and the sheer mass of an entirely fiberglass hull yields a pocket battle-wagon ready when the weather turns 

Below is a summary of the work that was completed in 2013 

Shakespeare4.5dB- Raymarine RAY55 Fixed Mount 7" Color GPS with Chartplotter/ Fishfinder Combo w/ Bronze Thru Hull Transudcer re powered with a Crusader 255 HP fuel injected engine. Epoxy encapsulated and zero maintenance rewired with marine grade wire. Switch panel with resetable circuit breakers-LED lighting throughout (under gunnel). Trim tabs rebuilt-prop was inspected and computer balanced-rudder and shaft log rebuilt and repacked, shaft was checked for straightness prior to reinstall. New cleats, hawse pipes, fitting etc, fuel tank acess to the tanks without cutting up the deck. New- Racor fuel filter, all new fuel hoses, bilge pump, fill and vent hoses, exhaust hoses. Nothing rubber related is original, new leaning post and cushion. Fuel injection starts the boat with a turn of a key. 360 Hrs. on the engine.
