Awarded 1997 Boat of the Year Category: Full-Size Cruiser, Best Value by Cruising World Magazine.
The Oceanis 461 is built according to CE standards
Lionheart is a very attractive example of the popular three staterooms, two head interior layout of the Oceanis 461. She features varnished teak joiner work and cabin soles, Beneteau blue fabrics, and 12 volt hella fans throughout.
Forward is a very spacious master stateroom with ensuite head, a centerline queen berth, a bench settee with lockers under, a full-sized hanging locker, and drawers under queen berth. Light and ventilation are provided by two hull ports, 2 opening ports, and two hatches. All hatches have screens and retractable shades. There are shelves outboard of the berth, brass reading lights were added, and carpeting was installed to protect the varnished sole.
Both heads have all white surfaces, easy to keep clean, sink and shower, and lockers.
The main salon features a U-shaped settee, with centerline bench seat and teak dining table between. Enormous amounts of storage are located behind and under the settees or in teak and caned lockers. To port you have the large galley. Next aft to port is the guest head with dual access doors from salon and the port guest stateroom. Aft of the salon on the starboard side you have the Nav station.
The twin guest staterooms can be found just aft of the companionway stairs. These two staterooms features a large double berth with storage under and a hanging locker. Access to the engine is located under the companionway stairs or through aft cabin engine box hatch. Numerous handholds and rails abound and in general, the overall interior condition of this vessel is first class.
Her galley features large Corian-type countertops, a 20-gallon trash receptacle, dish and pot lockers. The spaciousness in the galley and the numerous lockers will please any working chef
