Description

"GUINEVERE"  is a highly equipped and extremely clean Catalina 350. She has spent her life in freshwater until 2013 and her 35HP universal diesel has only 307 original hours. She has the wing-keel with a shoal draft of 4'6", a furling main & 150% genoa, two staterooms, and one head. It is no argument her current owners have taken her to the "next level". She represents an attractive opportunity to purchase a vessel that is not only turn-key but with all the desired bells and whistles.

Notable Highlights:

  • All new canvas including HD acrylic glass
  • Upgraded electronics & JL Audio sound system
  • Airconditioning & heat
  • Custom winter cover

Currently in the water on her slip and can be seen by scheduled appointment.

Construction, Hull and Deck

Hull is solid hand-laid fiberglass consisting of a vinylester skin coat and layers of chop, mat, and roving. The grid system produces a checkerboard of fiberglass supports in an athwartships pattern. The grid spreads loads from the shrouds while providing support for the mast, engine, and tanks. Stainless steel traverse supports help stabilize the mast's below-deck compression post. All of the boats have wiring and plumbing conduits. The deck is constructed of layers of chop, mat, and roving, cored with Balteck AL 600 end grain balsa core. Pre-tapped aluminum plates are bedded in high-load areas. The rudder is large and semi-balanced, single-skinned FRP with a composite post. Wing keel is a combination of cast iron and silicone bronze.
