Description

 The doughdish is a fiberglass version of the original 1914 Nathanael Herreshoff 16' footer built to withstand the unpredictable winds and chop of Buzzard's Bay single-handed. Gaff-rigged and classically dressed with pure white hull sides, red boot stripe and a green bottom. She is a comfortable, first-rate daysailer to be enjoyed by sailors eager to learn or appreciators of fine craftsmanship and style. Stored indoors, no trailer with an empty transom awaiting a new name!

Construction, Hull, Deck & Rigging:

Cored FRP hull and deck. White gelcoat topsides,tan painted deck areas, green antifoul bottom paint. Varnished teak coaming, seats, sheer strake and trim. Natural teak cockpit sole, varnished spruce spars.
